Xen The Alien - Indie Game Launchpad

Xen the Alien is a third-person action-adventure game that puts you in control of Xen – an Alien scout who crash-landed on the planet Naytonia. Xen must now traverse through 8 different areas of the planet Naytonia in search of the missing parts of his ship to enable him fix it and get home. But there’s a mysterious military presence on the planet that Xen must also contend with.

GAME FEATURES

The game has a unique cartoon art style and the game-play is complimented by a rich storyline and narrative. The game features a variety of weapons and vehicles that can be used as you battle a range of enemies with smart AI that investigate incidents, have different personalities/strategies, and can pick up and use the same weapons, items and vehicles you can. The game also features destructible terrain to highlight the destructive ability of some of the more powerful weapons.

Online leaderboards foster competitive play and track high scores and fastest times among players across all platforms. Leaderboards can be viewed both in-game and on the game website. Players are also able to design their own stages with the in-game level editor and share their creations online for the rest of the community to download and play, providing an almost limitless experience. In-game screenshots can also be taken and shared on the community website.
