2020: The population of the Dominoes risks the extinction. They live by generating a special kind of energy when they touch each other. But something scary is about to happen…
The researcher Domi and her assistant Nick know how to face this threat. Domi is smart, inflexible in her job. On the contrary, Nick is shy and clumsy. Despite frequent disagreements, they work in a lab that makes several tech objects and inventions that improve the life of Dominoes.The year before, while cleaning the lab, Nick and Domi found an ancient, prophetic map about what could change the future of the Dominoes. This map showed the instructions to create a special device that can be used to travel through time.
The writing suggests that in the future, in the year 4023, two heroes will need to find a lost box containing a strange object that will save the Dominoes and their energy.
After eight months, our heroes are ready to go to the future, but an unexpected event changes their plans and the mission suddenly gets complicated…Because of a hard day of testing, Domi goes home to rest, while Nick stays alone in the lab. A terrible earthquake, one of many in the Dominoes Planet, shakes the city.
Domi falls from her bed, while Nick jumps from his chair, making the and the device crashes on the floor, breaking some parts.
Panic takes over Nick. He doesn’t know how to explain the damage to his boss. His distraction can compromise the whole project! He decides to reorganize the lab, pick up sheets, pens, tools and cables from the ground. Then, he tries (very badly…) to repair the broken device and restart it before the sun rises.
What happens next? Nick wasn’t a very good watchman but also not a very good assistant. He tried to fix the device but he made a huge mistake! What is gonna happen and where are our heroes? Will they be able to find the right way to 4023 and Save the Dominoes?
